Old Banana Patch 24th July 2010

This area was once used to grow our bananas but they needed too much water. Last year I grew our pumpkins here and they produced a massive crop of  Queensland Blue Pumpkins and JAP Pumpkins. I intend to replant pumpkins in this area but on the opposite side and let them run the other direction.

A strip was rotary hoed along the northern fence adjacent to the kiosk chook yard. This strip will first be planted with Greenfeast peas followed over the top of that with Pumpkins once the peas have been picked.
