Pea Update in Banana Patch

I planted Greenfeast Peas in the Banana Patch as planned earlier . Immediately after planting I established a dripper system ready for the Cucurbits in spring. The expectation is that the peas will die down when the weather warms up and the cucurbits will take over seamlessly without the need for any further digging.

On 23rd August the sown peas have germinated well, if slowly but that is probably to the unusually cool winter which is extending late in the season.
