1. Thin peaches in October so that fruit on any branch is at least 150mm apart. If not done you get a big crop of tiny peaches and you so deplete the tree that you get very few next year. Even though I did this in 2013 I was not ruthless enough. Peaches were good size but one branch is straining under the load.
  2. Fertilize every 2 months from August to April.
  3. Spray for curly leaf after winter pruning and again when buds begin to swell with a copper spray.
  4. Do not spray if flowers are open as it affects the bees and fruit set.
